How to check product overnight interest? What is the calculation formula?

Hello, you can select the product you want to view in MT4, then right-click and select "Specifications" to view the overnight interest for buy or sell orders.

The formula for calculating the overnight interest is divided into spreads or percentages

Formula by Spread
= lot size * buy interest or sell interest * pip value * number of days

formula for percentage
= Number of hands * buying interest or selling interest * market price * contract volume / 360/100 * days

The overnight interest is charged at 23:59 server time. On Wednesday, three times the overnight interest will be charged (for non-US and Hong Kong stock products), and on Friday, the triple overnight interest will be charged for US and Hong Kong stock products.

You can also choose to view the overnight interest of all products directly on the official website
